The Ridgefield Library, Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce and Western CT SCORE will continue their Skillsbox: Tools for Business Success series at the Ridgefield Library on Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 8 a.m. (snow date Feb. 11) with Branding Basics with Jen Mathy.
Mathy is the director and co-owner of WatershedGallery.com, an online fine arts marketplace representing emerging and mid-career artists. Mathy’s 25-year career as a marketing communications specialist includes her work as brand manager for Discover Card and vice president of advertising and brand management for Morgan Stanley. She has held marketing roles for WGN-TV and Northwestern University, and chaired an international charity that built schools in Cambodia. She currently sits on the board of the Ridgefield Arts Council and assists with numerous other nonprofit organizations.
Other programs in the Skillsbox series include The New Lending Landscape — Alternative Financing/Crowdfunding with Ty Kiisel on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 8 a.m. and Learning with Lynda.com led by Dorothy Pawlowski on Wednesday, March 9, at 8 a.m. A five-part weekly series called Simple Steps for Starting Your Business begins on Monday, March 21, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
