Jayne S. Wallbrunn, 61 of Black Rock, CT, formerly of Ridgefield, CT, passed away after a brief illness at Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western CT on January 3rd. Jayne was the daughter of the late Dr. Robert & Elizabeth Wallbrunn.
Jayne graduated from Greens Farms Academy in Westport, CT, and Bradford College in Haverhill, MA. She also attended Hood College in Frederick, MD, and held a CT Real Estate license.
Jayne enjoyed a varied career, applying her wide range of interests: cooking, literature and finance. Jayne had a great love of sailing, music, books, photography and dogs. She was an active member of Pequot Yacht Club in Southport, CT, and a co-owner of a J36 sailboat. As a talented chef and caterer, she held regular cooking classes in Southport where she crafted and generously shared irresistible recipes. She was well-read, quick-witted, thoughtful and full of fun. Her two pugs, Tucker and Crosby, could not have known more love or devotion.
