The young choristers of the Fairfield County Children’s Choir will raise their voices in a new program of holiday music called Ring In the New! on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m., at the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport.
The concert will include an arrangement of Auld Lang Syne to greet the New Year, and some favorite holiday carols such as The Little Drummer Boy, Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming, A Holly Jolly Christmas and Christmas Time is Here from A Charlie Brown Christmas. A special selection will be a new version of Esa Einai by Shlomo Carlebach, arranged by Jon Noyes, the artistic director of the choir.
The Fairfield County Children’s Choir (FCCC) is a community-based choral program made up of 300 children in grades four through 12 from communities in and around Fairfield County.
