Eric Jones of Ridgefield presented research at Celebrating Research Excellence and Artistic Talent at Eastern, or CREATE, an undergraduate research and art conference at Eastern Connecticut State University, at its inaugural event at the end of the 2014-15 academic year.
Jones is a sport and leisure management major from Ridgefield. Mentored by kinesiology and physical education Professor Ari de Wilde, Jones’s presentation was titled “The History of Eastern Connecticut State University Rugby: A Socio-Cultural Analysis.”
The two-day event showcased approximately 170 student projects, including oral and poster presentations, art and photography exhibits, video and documentary viewings, and live music and dance performances.
