Dan Yaccarino, the illustrator of hit cartoons such as Oswald and The Backyardigans, will be featured at Third Saturdays family fun Feb. 15 at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum.
Mr. Yaccarino will read his book, Doug Unplugged, as well as its not-yet-released sequel, and sign books. During the signing, families are invited to make their own games to play during electronics-free “unplugged” time.
From 10 a.m. to noon, children aged 2 to 5 may play in the galleries, followed by storytime and art-making. From 1 to 3 p.m., children aged 6 to 10 may engage in gallery games and hands-on art projects. All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
