Chamber networkers will hear advice from retired executives

The Rise ’n’ Shine Networking Group of the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce will offer a seminar, S.C.O.R.E.: Experienced Advisors for Your Small Business, on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 7:45 to 9:30 a.m. at The Keeler Tavern Museum Garden House.

The seminar, targeted for small business owners and entrepreneurs seeking advice and guidance from experienced business mentors, will be presented by Tom Longmire of the Service Corps of Retired Executives (S.C.O.R.E.), an organization of volunteers who have been helping small businesses for 50 years.

The session will cover: who and what is S.C.O.R.E.; S.C.O.R.E. client success stories; S.C.O.R.E. services; 2014 workshops; and volunteer opportunities.

The seminar is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards. Light breakfast and coffee will be served.
