The Aldrich Museum has invited Ridgefielders of all ages to make wax window hearts and up-cycled cards; melt crayons to create unique, stained-glass-like sun catchers and use lost buttons, pieces of string, and fabric scraps to create one-of-a-kind cards for someone special.
The education center will offer hands-on opportunities to create Valentines and other projects from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8; Sunday, Feb. 9; Friday, Feb. 14; Saturday, Feb. 15; Sunday, Feb. 16; Monday, Feb. 17 and Tuesday, Feb. 18.
All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
Activities are free for members and children 18 and under; free with the price of admission for non-member adults. For more information, contact Michelle Friedman at mfriedman@aldrichart.org or 203-438-4519.
