Police are searching the center of town for a suspect in a holdup of the First Niagara Bank at 108 Danbury Road just after 1 p.m. today.
The man was described as a white male, in his late 20s, wearing a green hoodie with a hat underneath and blue jeans. The hat may be light brown.
The man reportedly said he had a gun, but no gun was shown.
He made off with $7,000 in cash.
He fled on foot and may have gotten into a dark SUV, possibly a Range Rover.
Danbury Police have sent a tracking dog.
