Looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, Pat and Alex Karsanidi recently made the long trip to the Antiques Roadshow held in Richmond, Va.
“It’s an exciting experience and something to do once in a lifetime, but waiting for hours in lines will certainly test your endurance,” said Mr. Karsanidi.
“Most people don’t realize you are there with several thousand people at any one time over a six-hour period, so you better bring a portable chair.”
When it was all over, was it worth it?
“Let’s say our dream of a mansion in southern France is not going to happen and we’re putting our ‘treasures’ away for another generation.
“Would we do it again? You betcha!”
