The Children’s Academy in Ridgefield supported ROAR animal shelter with a recent bake sale and presented ROAR with $1,000, part of the school’s values and curriculum supporting organizations who take care of animals in need. Teacher Ashley Duran and children of the academy made a presentation to Allyson Dotson, the director of ROAR. Dotson said the money will help dogs and cats to receive medicine, blankets and toys.
