New sessions of Yoga and Pilates classes start soon in Ridgefield Continuing Education. These classes help participants develop core strength and flexibility; build bone density and strength; improve posture and sense of balance, and meet fitness goals. Yoga with Renee Simon starts Monday, April 4, 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. Align and Flow Yoga with Jessica Outlaw starts Thursday, April 7, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Gentle Beginner Yoga with Shanta Marshall Ballou starts Thursday, April 7, 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. Morning Kickstart Yoga with Miriam Zernis starts Wednesday, April 13, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Pilates with Frances Goulart starts Wednesday, April 6, 6 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, April 26, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Classes meet six to eight sessions and cost $73 to $96. No classes April 18-22.
Ridgefield senior (age 62 and older) or disabled discount available. Tai Chi, Lean Lines, Body Precision, Get Ready for Summer Workout, Line Dance, and Zumba are also available.
