Evie is a beautiful little tortie cat with a sad story. But despite it all, she still wants the love and attention a forever home will give her. Evie came to ROAR with her three young kittens, who have all been adopted. They were discovered by a Good Samaritan huddled against a heating vent under a neighbor’s deck. Without a home, the good mama was trying to keep her babies warm in the cold weather. She had obviously been living and surviving outside for much of her life. We estimate Evie to be around 2 years old.
Her survival may well be because of her angel wings, the two stunning white streaks on each side of her back amidst an otherwise soft black-and-orange coat. While Evie is tentative and shy, she is pure sweetness once she trusts you. She will melt in your hand when scratched behind the ears. Evie is still adjusting to life with humans, so patience and a big heart are a must. She still needs time to adjust, but once she trusts you, this little angel will steal your heart.
Evie is up to date on all vaccinations, is FelV/FIV-negative and is spayed. Her adoption fee is $100.
The ROAR Donofrio Family Animal Shelter is located at 45 South Street and open Thursday through Monday, or go to roar-ridgefield.org to learn more about our adoptable dogs.
