As I watch our two large adopted ROAR dogs, Joe and Gracie frolic in the falling snow today, I see two joyful, contented dogs who enrich our home daily.
Meet Hope, a lovely one -plus year old large terrier mix from Mississippi.
Hope has watched other dogs, many her age, arrive and leave our ROAR Shelter, always waiting and yearning for a wonderful family to choose her. Could it be because of her size? Is she too big? Keep in mind, with super-size comes super love.
Hope plays endless ball and runs hard, but also quietly snuggles and gives her unconditional love to the staff and volunteers. She enjoys car rides and vigorous play with most other dogs, and like many dogs, she is not fond of cats.
ROAR understands the search to find a forever home may take longer for some dogs than for others. While waiting for that special person or family to come in and adopt her, the ROAR Shelter provides Hope with a warm, safe, loving place, nutritious food, daily exercise and playtime, grooming and any medical attention that might arise.
Hope is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on appropriate vaccines. Her adoption fee is $250.
Looking for a new best friend, choose love, choose Hope.
