Rob Adams and Donald Eng open the Tuesday show with a recap of the hockey doubleheader from Monday night that aired on the HAN Network. In the first game, New Canaan jumped out to a big lead on Ridgefield and never looked back. Catherine Granito had four goals and five points for the Rams.
Following that game, Catherine spoke with HAN Networks’ Frank Granito. Frank happens to be Catherine’s brother. Watch as the two conduct a very professional interview, before they share a wry laugh at the end.
Darien and Fairfield played in the boys game to finish the night, and it was a better game than many expected. We have the highlights.
Rob and Don break it all down, including who they think is the best team in Connecticut and the FCIAC (spoiler: it’s the same team).
After a break, the guys review the state boys basketball polls. Just how good is Sacred Heart? Are any FCIAC teams receiving attention?
The HAN Network will be busy, covering track and field in New Haven on Thursday, a basketball doubleheader on Friday, and cheerleading on Saturday.
The HAN Network, formerly known as Hersam Acorn Newspapers, is the exclusive FCIAC broadcast partner through the spring of 2018. HAN Network’s broadcasting division replaces HANRadio.com with a new focus on live video streams of high school athletics along with the Network’s news and lifestyle programming.
