Kimberly Henderson, the resident services coordinator of Ballard Green and Prospect Ridge apartments, is looking to the community and reaching out to Social Services in Town Hall to assist the senior population with snow removal from cars and shoveling in the winter months as needed.
“Some residents that I have personally met with and am working with on a monthly basis are expressing concern in this area with help. Some residents have expressed that they are willing to pay what they can, others may need the services completed for free,” Henderson said.
Henderson is calling the effort “Project Helping Hands for the Winter.”
She is looking to compile a list of those willing to help and be contacted when needed for snow removal. Those interested may call her at 860-982-9662 or 203-456-2976
