Engineers Eric Gendron (left) and Rob Adams give news broadcaster Kate Czaplinski the countdown for the 11 a.m. start. Czaplinski is a former Ridgefield Press reporter who moved from the print newsroom to the broadcast newsroom for the Press’s parent company, the HAN Network.
