Some 300 people showed up on the front lawn of the Cowen home Tuesday night for a Christmas caroling flash mob for the benefit of Justin Cowen, a 12-year-old with cancer, and his family. The event was arranged by Ridgefielder Amy Nash who is a Make-A-Wish granter and has Justin as one of her Wish kids. Shown with Justin (center) is his brother (left with phone) and mother (left) and Nash (right). Ridgefield police and fire assisted with traffic control along New Road as the hundreds of cars arrived and departed from 6:30 to 7:30 Tuesday evening. Following a half hour or so of caroling, friends stopped at the front porch with gifts for the family. — Thomas Nash photos
