A children and youth musical, Angels Aware, returns to the First Congregational Church on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 4 p.m.
Performed by the children’s and youth music program of the church, the production presents the Christmas story from the perspective of the angels in heaven who are assigned the task of announcing the birth of Jesus to a selfish and unruly human race. The angels all have their own quirky personalities.
Angels Aware is the creation of Kathie Hill and Janet McMahan. It is produced at First Congregational Church under the direction of Faith Ferry and music minister Edwin Taylor and is described as “a musical romp” by Ms. Ferry.
