Jay Schulman

Jay Schulman, a resident of Ridgefield CT since 1989, passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 11th, 2015 at the age of 59. Jay was the beloved husband of Donna Cobelli and father to three beautiful daughters, Jessica, Sabrina and Michaela.

Jay was born in the Bronx, New York on August 28, 1955 to Bernice Schulman Zahn and the late Samuel Schulman.

He graduated with a BS degree in Chemistry from SUNY at Stony Brook and with a Doctorate of Dental Science degree from Medical College of Virginia in 1981. Jay opened his Dentistry practice in Ridgefield in 1990 and had a long career serving the residents of Ridgefield with a kind word and large smile as their trusted dentist.

Jay was a man who enjoyed life to the fullest and saw everyday as a good day. He was a fixture in the summer golfing at the Ridgefield Golf Course and in the Winter skiing at Mount Snow in Vermont. He had his pilot’s license and was a member of the Danbury Airport Flying Club.
Jay is also survived by his sister Lynn Schulman Silverman and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
