The Ridgefield Lions Club, in conjunction with Eco-Shred, is having a Document Shred Day on Saturday, May 16, from 9 to noon in the parking lot behind Starbucks.
Shredding a copy paper-size box worth of paper costs $10. Papers may be brought in bags if one does not have boxes. Pickup is available for those with a lot to shred by calling Lion Bill Snellings at 203-431-6667.
An April 29 seminar on identity theft meant as a precursor to the shredding event has been canceled.
