The Seven Steps to Designing a Room is the topic of a new class in Ridgefield Continuing Education.
Some of the steps include finding your signature style, determining your signature color palette, establishing designated activities for the room, and drawing a floor plan.
Class members may bring measurements of a room in their home either sketched on paper with measurements indicated — note windows and doors — or drawn to scale on one-half-inch graph paper to create a design plan for use during class.
Instructor Linda Keefer has taught many design classes, has a design consulting business, has degrees in history and education, and has 35,000 followers on her Pinterest design boards, followed by several top designers.
Class meets on Friday, March 27, from 12:30 to 2:30 at the Venus Building. Cost is $31 plus materials.
