Members of National Charity League’s Nutmeg Chapter are among the many volunteers who create wreaths for the Founders Hall Wreath Festival, which will open on Nov. 20 and run through Nov. 23. To create a wreath for this year’s festival, call Founders Hall at 203-431-7000.

Wreaths will be sold for $25 from Founders Hall, decorated and donated back to be sold at the biennial Wreath Festival & Holiday Boutique. Holiday or seasonal, colorful or subtle, sophisticated or whimsical, the wreath design is up to the person who decorates.

The wreaths will be judged and displayed throughout the four-day festival and sold. All proceeds will benefit Founders Hall, a donor-supported center that offers opportunities for lifelong learning, fitness and fun to people age 60 and older.

The Wreath Festival & Holiday Boutique will begin with a Jingle & Mingle opening party on Thursday, Nov. 20, and continue through Sunday, Nov. 23, with wreath displays and sales, entertainment by local performers, and a boutique stocked with holiday gifts, home décor items, gourmet food and kitchen goods, jewelry, accessories, and more.

Gifts by individuals or representatives of a business or organization will be acknowledged on the wreath’s tag and at the event. Wreath designers who purchase a ticket to the festival’s opening party will receive an additional complimentary gala ticket. Gala tickets cost $60. Admission to the Wreath Festival and Holiday Boutique is free.

For more information or to buy a wreath, call Lynda Gutman at Founders Hall, 203-431-7000.
