Ridgefielder lobbies against violence

Local Jewish American leaders from across the nation — including Gerry Sherman of Ridgefield — will travel to Washington to lobby members of the United States Congress to do all they can to end violence against women, girls and LGBT people worldwide as part of American Jewish World Service’s annual Policy Summit and Lobby Day, Sunday to Tuesday, May 11 to 13.
