Sadly, our featured cat was abandoned and wandered into a church looking to be rescued. They quickly dubbed her Carmella, and hoped that ROAR would find the perfect home for her.
Carmella is only 2 years old. She is black and white, with an expressive little face. Her special someone will be experienced with cats, be confident with cat interactions, and be willing to take the time to understand her unique purr-sonality. If so, she will bloom into the cat she was meant to be.
Carmella is looking for a quiet home with calm surroundings, without dogs or small children. If you are that perfect match, she’ll be forever grateful and you’ll be richly rewarded. She has been spayed and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
The ROAR Donofrio Family Animal Shelter is located at 45 South Street. Hours are 11 to 3, Monday through Saturday, except for Wednesdays, and, in addition, on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8. Go to roar-ridgefield.org for more information.
From April through October, the shelter will be open on select Sundays from 11 to 3. The April dates are the 6th and the 27th.
