A fund-raiser to benefit Ridgefield Sunrise Cottage is slated for Saturday, June 7. The spring party will be held at the newly constructed “green” home of Daniela Sikora and Keitha Kinne.
“Guests will be in awe of the beautiful features of the house, set on a more than four acre semi-wooded property,” said organizers. “The building materials and goods all benefit the environment and are energy efficient with a five-star+ home energy-rating certificate.”
Party-goers will be wined and dined by the solar-heated pool and in the magnificent salon while being treated to live Broadway show tunes and some surprise entertainment, and later they may dance the night away to DJ-spun music. Ridgefield Prime, one of the cottage’s biggest supporters, will provide food.
RSC is a group home providing comfortable, independent living arrangements to six developmentally disabled adults who are from the greater Ridgefield area. The cottage celebrates eight full years in operation and is located in a neighborhood setting close to the community center of Ridgefield.
