Gina Wilson
Gina Wilson, the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra’s executive director, will retire at the end of the orchestra’s current season.
“Gina has been our executive director for five years, and has made outstanding contributions to the orchestra,” said Donna Case, president of the Orchestra.
“She created and presented the successful ‘Dancing with the Stars’ gala and the ‘RSO Goes to School’ education program. In addition, she broadened our collaborative programs with other Ridgefield arts organizations and with Danbury Hospital.”
Ms. Case added, “The RSO is planning an exciting program for its 50th anniversary season in 2014-2015. Gina has been instrumental in putting those plans in place.”
Ms. Wilson said, “It has been such a pleasure for me to work with the RSO. I’ve enjoyed my time as executive director and look forward to continuing to enjoy the orchestra as a proud audience member.”
An active musician, Ms. Wilson will continue her work in Ridgefield as accompanist and performer, and said she looks forward to supporting the orchestra.
The orchestra has begun the search for its next executive director. Inquiries may be directed to the RSO Office at 203-438-3889, email@ridgefieldsymphony.org.
