Downton Abbey and English Country Style is the topic of a new interior décor class in Ridgefield Continuing Education.
Students will view 20 to 25 of Britain’s most beautiful and historical English country homes, including their great halls, salons, bedrooms, libraries, kitchens, and gardens, and see how English Country style originated.
Designers such as John Fowler, Nicky Haslam, David Mlinaric, Charlotte Moss, Mario Buatta and Bunny Williams will also be showcased.
Instructor Linda Keefer has taught interior design for more than 12 years. Class meets on Fridays, Jan. 31, and Feb. 7 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Venus Building (old high school). Cost is $39plus a $2 materials fee.
