Matthew Petrini and Amy Lynn Girolametti
Mr. and Mrs. John Girolametti Jr. have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amy Lynn, to Matthew Robert Petrini, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Petrini of Danbury, formerly of Ridgefield.
Ms. Girolametti is a 2007 graduate of Ridgefield High School. She attended Western Connecticut State University, where she received a dual bachelor’s degree in elementary education and psychology.
She recently earned a master of arts in teaching and literacy at Sacred Heart University.
She is a kindergarten teacher in Danbury.
Mr. Petrini is a 2007 graduate of Immaculate High School. He has a bachelor’s degree in history from Western Connecticut State University and is completing his master’s in education from Sacred Heart University.
He will obtain his teaching certification while working at Darien High School.
A July 2014 wedding is planned at St. Mary Church in Ridgefield.
