The Ridgefield Board of Realtors has announced that Kyle Neumann, 27, a third-generation Realtor with Neumann Real Estate, has been elected 2016 president-elect of the Realtor board.
Neumann will represent 280 Realtor members and 35 affiliate members at the local, state and national levels. His knowledge of current technology trends and social media resources, and how they pertain to the real estate industry, will help move the board in a forward direction that will greatly benefit its members and their clients, the board said in a statement.
Neumann comes from a long line of Realtors. His uncle, Harry “Chip” Neumann Jr., was president at the state association of Realtors in 1991. His father, Russell Neumann, was president of the Ridgefield board in 1987.
In the spirit of friendly competition, Kyle Neumann is proud to be elected as an officer of the board four years earlier than his father at age 27, also taking the title of youngest president-elect in board history.
Neumann graduated from the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He obtained his New York real estate license in 2013 and his Connecticut real estate license in 2014. He currently serves as a state director for the Connecticut Association of Realtors and as the board liaison to the Greater Fairfield County Consolidated MLS.
