Summer Learning & Enrichment Activities and Resources for Children from preschool through first grade is the topic of a new class in Ridgefield Continuing Education.
Linda Keefer shares ideas on inexpensive and fun activities, games, materials, and books to use for early learning enrichment and preparation for school during the summer or homeschooling year-round. In the interactive workshop, parents will be encouraged to share what they have used successfully with their children and local resources they like. A bibliography of recommended books and materials will be handed out. Instructor Keefer is a former preschool director, kindergarten and K-8 teacher, tutor, headmistress, SAT instructor, educational consultant and mother of two sons.
The class meets on Thursday, April 14, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Veterans Park School. Tuition is $29. An additional materials fee of $2 is payable at class. To register, ridgefieldschools.org or Peggy Bruno 203-431-2812.
