Ava Turner
Thirteen-year-old Ridgefielder Ava Turner, a pianist and home-schooled student, performed in the Mid-Season Musicales sponsored by the Associated Music Teachers’ League of New York on Sunday, March 13, at Christ and Saint Stephen’s Church in New York City.
Turner was accepted by audition to perform Jardins sous la pluie by Debussy in the annual concert.
She has been a student of Edith G. Sullivan of Danbury for the past seven years and has earned other honors and awards in similar events in Connecticut.
