The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit Council has put together a special program just for you. We’ve invited representatives from local media to attend the next Nonprofit Council meeting to be part of a panel discussion on Effective Media Strategies.
The Ridgefield Press (Thomas Nash), Ridgefield Magazine/TownVibe (Geoffrey Morris), HamletHub (Kerry Anne Ducey), The Daily Voice (Karen Tensa and John Haffey), and The Danbury News-Times (Jean Dubail) will be in attendance to answer your questions and facilitate discussion on:
- Submitting a news item
- Press releases
- Publicity
- Event notices
- Advertising
- Print versus online
Each media outlet will provide a short overview of its publication and online presence. Then there will be a question-and-answer format with lively discussion and sharing of best media practices among fellow nonprofit organizations.
You won’t want to miss this valuable information, so be sure register a representative from your organization to attend — paid staff member, volunteer, or board member! This is free to attend, and nonprofit organizations that are not Chamber members are welcome to attend this special seminar.
