Adelka Polak, a performing artist, dancer and puppeteer, and Justin Perlman, a sculptor and past artist in residence at the Ridgefield Guild of Artists, did a schoolwide collaborative presentation at Barlow Mountain Elementary School in February and early March. The students learned the value of art in our lives and how expressing human experience is done through visual storytelling by way of sculpture, puppetry and dance. The audience viewed a joint performance by Polak and Perlman. The presentation was part of the Artist-in-Residence program at Barlow Mountain.
