• Adults and teens — Nature Journaling on Saturday, April 9, from 10 to noon.

• Sixth to eighth grade students — Uncharted Woodcock, meeting on four consecutive Thursdays starting April 28 from 3:30 to 5.

Earth Day activities on Friday, April 22, for all ages, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and from 1 to 4 p.m., include making “up-cycled” terrariums and recycled crafts and exploration of the grounds. Nets will be available for scooping along the pond. There is a $10 fee, payable that day, to make a terrarium (bring a vessel from home). All other activities are free and no registration is required.

Spring Break Enrichment returns Monday, April 11, through Thursday, April 14, and Monday, April 18, through Thursday, April 21. Children ages 3 through 7 explore the natural world in springtime with hands-on activities, animal presentations, hikes, and crafts. Each day will focus on a specific nature-related topic such as Swamp Study, Birds and Nests, or Vernal Pools. Programs run from 9 to noon each day. Registration is required. Sign up for any or all days through the website.

The center is hosting a Summer Camp Open House on Wednesday, April 6, from 5 to 7 p.m., an  opportunity to visit and meet senior camp staff.
