The official ribbon-cutting ceremony, held in conjunction with the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Friday, April 1, at 11 a.m. All members and friends of the Chamber are invited, along with elected officials, area residents and other community members. The building will be open for guided tours following the ceremony.
RVNA’s Family Open House Day will on Saturday, April 30, from 10 to 4. The building will be open for guided tours, and RVNA plans to have demonstrations and family-friendly activities. RVNA’s Family Open House Day is the same day as Downtown Ridgefield Inc.’s Spring Stroll and the Rotary Club’s Ridgefield Gone Country barbecue festival.
“We are very excited to be able to provide two opportunities in April for the public to visit the Center for Exceptional Care and learn about the additional services we are now able to provide to the community,” said Theresa Santoro, president and chief executive officer of RVNA.
“The Center for Exceptional Care gives us a base from which we can now offer outpatient physical therapy, as well as hands-on nutrition education and counseling in our new teaching kitchen, while utilizing modern technologies and expanding staff training in order to provide excellent health care at home,” she said.
