Barlow Mountain Elementary School is holding its first-ever musical, The Wizard of Oz, with four performances March 11-13.
More than 120 students — more than a third of the student population — are participating in the production.
More than 800 tickets are available for the four performances, and by last week, 481 tickets had been sold.
Parent volunteers helping with the play include Amy Pal, Rebekkah LaValley and Lisa Cousins.
Trish Breede, mother of three (non-Barlow) students, who has a theater background, volunteered to be the director.

Showtimes are Friday, March 11, at 6 p.m.; Saturday, March 12, at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 13, at 2 p.m.
