Carolina Fernandez
Carolina Fernandez will discuss her newest book, Palm Beach Panache: Infusing Island Style with Serendipitous and Re-Imagined Finds, at an author talk at the Ridgefield Library on Tuesday, March 8, at 7 p.m.
The talk includes a slide presentation with images from the 22 homes, 15 shops, and gardens and galleries that are included in the book. Fernandez explores the palette, patterns, textures, furniture, and décor, with homage to the demands, as well as the revitalizing qualities, of the sun, sea and air of Palm Beach.
Fernandez has bought and renovated 11 homes. Lessons learned are shared in her books and in more than 200 original published articles, stories and anthologies.
Fernandez divides her time between Connecticut and Palm Beach. Copies of Palm Beach Panache will be available for sale and signing at the event.
