A new session of the Drawing for Beginning and Continuing Students class starts Thursday, March 10, in Ridgefield Continuing Education.
The back-to-basics drawing class is for inexperienced and experienced students. Fundamentals will be covered, from contour through composition. The class meets on Thursdays, March 10, 17, 24 and 31 and April 7 and 14 (weather date is April 28), from 10 to noon at the Venus Building (use Governor Street entrance opposite police station). Cost is $128 (materials list on website).
The instructor, Laura McCormick, is a freelance artist specializing in charcoal and pastel portraiture. She has been teaching drawing for many years. Advance registration required, ridgefieldschools.org or Peggy Bruno at 203-431-2812.
