Lauren Acampora
The Ridgefield Library and Books on the Common will present an author talk with Lauren Acampora on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. at the library. Acampora will discuss her debut collection of linked stories, The Wonder Garden, which was named a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers selection, won the GLCA New Writers award and was a finalist for the New England Book Award.
The linked stories take a trenchant look at the flawed people of Old Cranbury, incisive tales that reveal at each turn the unseen battles we play out behind drawn blinds, the creeping truths from which we distract ourselves, and the massive dreams we haul quietly with us and hold close.
