Patricia B. Baker of Marshfield, Mass., died on February 14, 2016 at the age of 77. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert M. Baker, Jr., dear mother of Stephen and his wife Kathleen Baker of Leavenworth, Washington; Siobhan Baker and her husband Robert Jenkins of Marshfield; Sheila Baker of Marshfield; and Amanda L. Baker and her husband James Parise of Odenton, Maryland. Grandmother of Felix, Audrey, Rebecca, and Ciara.
Patricia was born in Stamford, CT. She resided in Ridgefield, CT for 44 years, where she worked as a bookkeeper and was the Democratic registrar of voters. She had many interests, including art, writing, cooking, nature, politics, and travel. She coordinated a large arts and crafts show for several years, wrote a cookbook as well as poetry and short stories, and visited the Amazon, the Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica, Iceland, Mexico, Ireland, and the Hebrides, Shetland, and Orkney Islands. She particularly enjoyed visiting her many cousins in Ireland. Patricia will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, 110 North Street in Ridgefield, CT.
