Do you recall the recent front-page story, Seniors Fuel Town’s Growth? The article cited latest U.S. Census data indicating that the town’s population of people age 60+ is growing steadily, “…showing that seniors who have lived in the town a long time are choosing to stay here, and those from other towns are choosing to relocate here…” We believe that Founders Hall has a lot to do with this. Thanks to steadfast support from members like you, Founders Hall has evolved into one of the area’s top centers for people age 60+. You’re unlikely to find a center that offers as much for life-long learning, fitness and fun anywhere else.
With more than 200 new members joining in the last few months, our experience supports census data. Here, people find a place to pursue outstanding academic classes, develop new interests and build important social networks. Because of our mission and philosophy, Founders Hall has no membership fee and extremely low program fees. Support from members like you helps to fill the funding gap between low fees and our actual expenses, which top $800,000 each year. That’s why we’re asking you to give as generously as you can when you receive our appeal letter later this month. Your tax-deductible donation will help ensure that Founders Hall remains the wonderful resource that it is for you as well as a magnet to those who are just discovering what you already know: Founders Hall helps to make Ridgefield a great place to retire.
