Rob Adams and Dave Stewart hit the mid-point of the week with a visit from Pat Gore, head boys hockey coach in New Canaan. The Rams got a big win on Monday, knocking off Xavier, 5-1. Tyler Hill had four goals for the Rams.
Coach Gore breaks down the win, as well as looks at our upcoming matchup on the HAN Network between St. Joseph and Darien. The Blue Wave are flying high off a 3-0 victory at Greenwich on Monday. The Cadets have been one of the big stories in the state this season.
Darien/St. Joseph will air on the HAN Network Wednesday night, beginning with pregame activities at 6:25 p.m.
The guys also take a look at basketball in the FCIAC. The undefeated Brien McMahon Senators are no longer undefeated, having lost to Ridgefield on Thursday night. Danbury seems to still be the top team in the conference, but the FCIAC is wide open after that.
The HAN Network, formerly known as Hersam Acorn Newspapers, is the exclusive FCIAC broadcast partner through the spring of 2018. HAN Network’s broadcasting division replaces HANRadio.com with a new focus on live video streams of high school athletics along with the Network’s news and lifestyle programming.
