MELT workshops start in January

MELT Method Workshops with InterPlay Health are new to Ridgefield Continuing Education this session. MELT is a self-treatment program to help reduce pain, improve energized, and reduce the effects of aging.

A one-session course, Improve your workout, reduce your pain: Introduction to MELT Method Techniques on Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. or Thursday, Feb. 4 from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. will help participants get started. Cost is $19 per person. There is also a four week series to help eliminate stuck stress and feel better in the body. Classes meet on Wednesdays, Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24, from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. or Thursdays, Feb. 11, 18, 25 and March 3, from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Cost is $51 for four sessions.

 

Participants need to bring an exercise mat and water. All participants should be able to get on and off the floor and the roller with little difficulty. Instructor Kristen Hallett Rzasa is the owner of InterPlay health, a whole-life wellness company focusing on fitness, and nutrition. Advance registration required.
