Many Ridgefielders with Frontier cable television service lost service today, Jan. 4, when a statewide technical problem hit the New London-based company.
A company spokesman said Ridgefield, Trumbull, Ledyard and Hartford were among the towns and cities where many customers had lost connectivity between 10 a.m. and 12:28 p.m.
Technicians were working on the problem, which he said may be cold weather-related, and service was expected back by mid-afternoon.
