Rachel Kirkpatrick and David Boucher

Rachel Kirkpatrick, daughter of Terry and Jeri Kirkpatrick of Ridgefield, was married to David Boucher, son of Lizann and Paul Boucher of Ridgefield, on Oct. 10, at three in the afternoon. The Rev. Jason Coker performed the double-ring ceremony at Wilton Baptist Church in Wilton.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a champagne Allure strapless lace gown with a cathedral length train and carried a bouquet of white astilbe, larkspur and ranunculus. Sara Sved of Ridgefield was matron of honor for her sister, while best friend Kate Guthrie of Rowayton was maid of honor.

Sisters-in-law Holly Kirkpatrick of Washington, D.C., Allison Boucher of Astoria, N.Y., and Alexandra Boucher of Ridgefield were bridesmaids. Brother of the groom Gerald Boucher of Brooklyn, N.Y., was best man. Brother Brian Boucher of Ridgefield and brothers-in-law Jody Hughes of Astoria, N.Y., Jeremy Kirkpatrick of Washington, D.C., and Nathan Sved of Ridgefield were groomsmen.

The bride graduated from Ridgefield High School in 2002 and Plymouth State University in Plymouth, N.H., in 2006. She is managing editor at Norwalk-based magazine Event Marketer. The groom is also a 2002 graduate of Ridgefield High School. He is a local remodeling contractor.

After a barbecue reception at Wilton Riding Club, the couple honeymooned in Jamaica. They live in Ridgefield.
