Dave Stewart stops by and joins Rob Adams to co-host the Wednesday show. Football is the main topic of conversation, as Dave and Rob discuss the FCIAC 10 game schedule, and the elimination of the FCIAC championship in 2016.
Rob, in case you haven’t seen or heard, believes that the game should continue on. Hear why he feels that way, and why he also understands what is going on, and who is to blame (in his opinion).
HAN Network Chief Executive Officer Marty Hersam is the guest on this edition of Nutmeg Sports. Marty talks about his feelings regarding the possible end of the championship game, and the business impact of that as well (HAN Network is the official broadcaster of the FCIAC).
The three recount their favorite memories of the championship game as well.
As Dave was at the New Canaan-North Haven game, he goes over the statistics and any thoughts regarding that matchup. They also review the final state football poll, and begin looking forward to the winter broadcasting schedule.
The HAN Network, formerly known as Hersam Acorn Newspapers, is the exclusive FCIAC broadcast partner through the spring of 2018. HAN Network’s broadcasting division replaces HANRadio.com with a new focus on live video streams of high school athletics along with the Network’s news and lifestyle programming.
