The SymphoNYChorus will present its annual Christmas concert, Light of the World, at Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m.
The chorus is a Christian, faith-based choir and orchestra “committed to the performance, promotion and expansion of choral singing as an art form, while also educating, enriching and inspiring audiences throughout the tri-state area and the world.” Its director is Henric Ideström, Jesse Lee’s music minister.
The concert will feature renditions of favorite Christmas carols and include new pieces. The Jesse Lee concert will be the only Connecticut presentation of the chorus’s holiday show. There’s no admission fee, but an offering will be taken.
