Two performances of Nuts About the Nutcracker will benefit a Ridgefield foundation.
The Enchanted Garden School of Dance will once again bring its version of Nuts About the Nutcracker to life on Dec. 12 at noon and 5 p.m. at Ridgefield High School. This will be the 12th anniversary production incorporating contemporary music and all original choreography that includes ballet, tap and jazz. All ticket sale proceeds will go to the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation, a Ridgefield-based organization that benefits children with special needs.
The show was the brainchild of writer, director and producer Jean Cobelli, who decided that all the proceeds would go to a newly formed local foundation.
This year’s cast is working to put on a show filled with surprises. “Larger-than-life characters, dance routines that will make your feet tap, and gorgeous costumes and music make this a show not to be missed.”
Tickets are $20 and available at mollytango.org or the Enchanted Garden.
