Bus drivers from First Student will again be setting up a collection point in front of Party Depot to collect for the Toys for Tots program.
Drivers Bob Cesca and Mark Burke will drape the familiar “Toys for Tots” banner on the side of a school bus and collect toys the next two Saturdays, Dec. 12 and 19, from 10:30 to 4 both days.
They are continuing the job usually handled by bus driver Don Finn, who is unable to do it this year.
Don Clady of New Milford, a Toys for Tots coordinator, will collect the toys. They ask that only new toys be donated.
“Ridgefield is like a home run” for Toys for Tots. “People are so generous. People come with carloads,” Cesca said.
