Adelka Polak
Crossing Artistic Disciplines: Performing the Visual with Adelka Polak and Justin Perlman is the title of the library’s ARTalk on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m.
Sculptor Justin Perlman and performance artist Adelka Polak will present their work as individual artists and talk about the intersection of their work. They will demonstrate how they have influenced and inspired each other’s solo work by illustrating their collaborations with specific imagery. Polak will also present a short mask performance piece with a mask created by Perlman. Polak is a dancer, puppeteer, mask-performer, and movement director. Perlman is a sculptor working in stone carving, metal, bronze casting, and other media. His work is held in numerous private collections.
